張文彬

張文彬（1910—1944），原名張純清，湖南平江人。1927年加入中國共產黨，參加過平江起義和長征，作戰勇敢，被稱為「保衛井岡山的孤膽英雄」。1938年4月任中共廣東省委書記，是黨中央派到南方領導華東抗戰和東江游擊武裝的重要幹部。1942年6月因叛徒出賣在廣東大埔被捕，囚禁於江西泰和馬家洲集中營。他身患肺病，飽受酷刑，仍嚴拒勸降，留下遺書《我誓死不能轉變》。1944年8月26日在獄中病逝，年僅34歲。

Zhang Wenbin (1910–1944), born Zhang Chunqing in Pingjiang, Hunan, joined the CCP in 1927. He took part in the Pingjiang Uprising and the Long March and was known as the 'lone hero who defended Jinggangshan.' In April 1938 he became secretary of the CCP Guangdong Provincial Committee, one of the cadres the Party Centre sent to the South to lead the anti-Japanese struggle and the Dongjiang guerrilla forces. In June 1942 he was arrested at Dabu, Guangdong, after a defector's betrayal, and jailed in the Majiazhou concentration camp in Taihe, Jiangxi. Already suffering from lung disease and tortured, he refused all appeals to surrender and left a will titled 'I Swear I Will Not Change.' He died in prison on August 26, 1944, at the age of 34.
