張錦標

張錦標，東江縱隊第三大隊班長。1944年1月24日午夜，東江縱隊第三大隊襲擊東莞城南篁村田心坊偽軍張玉章中隊。戰鬥中，突擊隊進攻受阻，敵人一挺重機槍封住了突擊道路。在此緊急關頭，年僅18歲的班長張錦標奮不顧身，用自己的身體撲壓在敵人的重機槍上，壓住槍口、奪佔土堆陣地，為突擊隊掃清了前進障礙。他為部隊的勝利壯烈犧牲，是東江縱隊以身體堵敵機槍的著名戰鬥英雄。

Zhang Jinbiao was a squad leader in the 3rd Battalion of the Dongjiang Column. On the night of January 24, 1944, the 3rd Battalion raided the collaborationist Zhang Yuzhang company at Tianxinfang, Huangcun, south of Dongguan. As the assault stalled under an enemy heavy machine gun, 18-year-old squad leader Zhang Jinbiao raced forward and threw his body onto the gun, silencing it and seizing the earthen position so the assault team could break through. He sacrificed his life for the victory and is remembered as one of the Dongjiang Column's heroes who threw himself on an enemy machine gun.
