吳定夫

吳定夫（1921.11—2008.4.22），廣東深圳沙河五村人。1942年，在地下黨組織發動下，他與沙河五村一批青年一同參加革命，配合東江縱隊在沙河一帶開展敵後鬥爭，擔任參戰、參軍和交通聯絡任務。在對日偽軍的戰鬥中，他曾率隊把日軍誘入雷區，巧妙殲敵，成為沙河五村傳頌的戰鬥故事。抗戰勝利後繼續跟隨部隊革命，晚年家鄉為其設立口述史和紅色記憶課程，他的事跡被編入地方紅色教育教材。

Wu Dingfu (November 1921 – April 22, 2008) was from the five Shahe villages in what is now Shenzhen. In 1942, mobilized by underground party organizers, he and other young men of the Shahe villages joined the revolution, supporting the Dongjiang Column behind enemy lines in the Shahe area through combat, enlistment, and liaison work. In a fight against the Japanese and collaborationist troops, he led a small force to lure a Japanese unit into a minefield and destroyed them — a story still told in Shahe. After the war he continued with the revolutionary forces; in his later years his oral account was recorded and his story is now part of local red-education material in Shahe.
