廖安祥

廖安祥，廣東梅縣人，早年在香港經商，被柳亞子譽為「梅州大俠」。抗戰時期，他受八路軍駐香港辦事處廖承志、連貫指示，以商行作掩護，成為「秘密大營救」的重要交通和後勤骨幹。他在惠州開辦「源吉行」作為接待站，並自購兩艘機動帆船，從水路掩護何香凝、柳亞子等年長文化名人撤離香港。抗戰勝利後，他繼續為黨的地下交通和華僑聯絡工作出力，1994年被梅州市授予「榮譽市民」稱號。

Liao Anxiang was a businessman from Meixian, Guangdong, active in Hong Kong; the poet Liu Yazi called him the 'Great Hero of Meizhou.' During the war, on instructions from Liao Chengzhi and Lian Guan of the Eighth Route Army's Hong Kong office, he used his trading companies as cover and became a key logistics and liaison man for the 'secret rescue.' He set up the Yuanji Hang trading house in Huizhou as a reception post and bought two motorized junks to evacuate elderly cultural figures such as He Xiangning and Liu Yazi by sea. After the war he continued underground transport and overseas-Chinese liaison work; in 1994 Meizhou named him an honorary citizen.
