梁廣

梁廣（1909—1990），廣東新興人，工人運動出身。1925年參加省港大罷工，1927年加入中國共產黨，曾在香港秘密重建黨組織。1939年5月，為統一領導曾生、王作龍兩部，中共東江軍委在坪山馬巒村成立，梁廣任書記。1945年初，他率北江支隊、西北江支隊挺進粵北，開闢廣寧、四會、清遠、懷集邊區抗日根據地。解放戰爭時期任粵桂邊縱隊司令員兼政委。建國後歷任廣州市副市長、廣東省總工會主席、廣東省人大常委會副主任。

Liang Guang (1909–1990) was born in Xinxing, Guangdong, and came up through the labor movement. He joined the 1925 Canton-Hong Kong Strike and the CCP in 1927, later rebuilding underground party organization in Hong Kong. In May 1939, to unify Zeng Sheng's and Wang Zuoyao's forces, the Dongjiang Military Committee was set up at Maluan Village, Pingshan, with Liang Guang as its secretary. In early 1945 he led the Beijiang and Northwest-Jiangxi columns into northern Guangdong, opening the Guangning-Sihui-Qingyuan-Huaiji base area. In the Liberation War he became commander and political commissar of the Yue-Guide Column. After 1949 he served as deputy mayor of Guangzhou, chairman of the Guangdong Federation of Trade Unions, and a vice-chair of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress.
