蔡子培

蔡子培，1913年8月生，廣東東莞人。1937年11月赴延安入陝北公學學習，任秘書處秘書，1938年4月加入中國共產黨，後被派回廣東工作。1939年1月起，歷任東（莞）寶（安）惠（陽）邊人民抗日游擊大隊大隊長、中共河源縣委書記、第二支隊大隊長、廣九路東人民抗日總隊副隊長、路東行政委員會委員兼軍事科長，是東江縱隊軍事骨幹之一，長期在東寶惠邊區和廣九路東地區堅持敵後游擊戰爭。

Cai Zipei was born in August 1913 in Dongguan, Guangdong. In November 1937 he went to Yan'an to study at the Northern Shaanxi Public School, served as a secretariat officer, and joined the CCP in April 1938 before being sent back to Guangdong. From January 1939 he served successively as commander of the Dongguan-Bao'an-Huiyang Border People's Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Battalion, party secretary of Heyuan County, a battalion commander in the 2nd Column, deputy commander of the Guangjiu Road-East Anti-Japanese General Detachment, and a member of the Road-East Administrative Committee in charge of military affairs. He was one of the Dongjiang Column's backbone officers, fighting behind enemy lines in the Dong-Bao-Hui border and east of the Guangzhou-Kowloon railway.
